Bagpipers, drummers, musicians, singers and dancers, all directly from Edinburgh, Scotland, take the audience on a thrilling and varied journey through Scotland for an evening, including open-air events on selected open-air stages.

 

In front of a castle backdrop with towers and battlements - the imitation of a Scottish castle - the artists constantly present new facets of Scottish culture. Just now the impressive sound of the bagpipes and drums roared through the hall and caught the people in the stands, in the next moment soulful ballads full of longing and space provide an intoxicating silence in the hall. The participating artists are among the best that Scotland has to offer and make the event an authentic "Scottish Tattoo". Most of the participants attend the world famous Edinburgh Tattoo on a regular basis. The bagpipe players and drummers include many winners of international competitions.
